Fuel Prices and Economy

In light of the fuel price hike isn't it time some of the slooooow drivers on the island looked at how much fuel they are wasting by a)crawling along at 35 everywhere, and b)holding everyone else up. Surely these are the ones damaging the environment?! Old and modern manufacturers quote optimum fuel economy being around 56 mph sadly a speed we rarely can experience nowadays.

Maximum econmy for my Jensen is at 30. I'm pretty certain a dolly is somewhere around 35ish but can't find where I've read that.
