It was just minutes from being scrapped, it had been weighed and the guy was just about to fill out the forms. I bought it for £64,its weigh in value. It has Mot till Feb 09, and I just dont understand why you would scrap it. It drives fine, has some rust on the passenger sill but the guy is even going to weld it this weekend! I worked on a farm where there was a barn of some 50 Triumphs of all models in different states of repair. I don't know much about cars at all but realised I could probably afford a triumph in a resonable state and would love one as my first car rather than it being some horrid cheap, falling apart ...
