As some of you know I have a Dolomite Sprint that I'm turning into a track and auto test car.

I've had it since December 2006 and progress has taken alot longer than planned as the project has got more extreme as I have gone..

The planned mods are:

race grade Poly bushes fitted to strengthened suspension components.

4 pot callipers and larger vented discs on the front and ford hubs to reduce flex and increase the choice of wheels.

bias adjustable pedal box.

hydraulic handbrake.

quick ...

Out and about with your mobile phone? Seen a fellow owner?
Locking wheel nuts - TR7?

I have had these in my garage for years, brand new in the box:

They are complete and as new. They have the code number of 070 and fit all these that have that number:

Sorry don't know what stud size it is (but if anyone can advise please) the adaptor fits a 3/4" spanner.

There is also a chrome wheel nut in the box which presumably is for the car they were originally bought for?

If anyone here wants them please PM me. I want £5. If no takers then ebay ...

Fuel Prices and Economy

In light of the fuel price hike isn't it time some of the slooooow drivers on the island looked at how much fuel they are wasting by a)crawling along at 35 everywhere, and b)holding everyone else up. Surely these are the ones damaging the environment?! Old and modern manufacturers quote optimum fuel economy being around 56 mph sadly a speed we rarely can experience nowadays.
